International Summer Camp at Kehoe-France School (New Orleans, USA)

Kehoe-France, an ISP school near New Orleans was the last location of the ISP Summer Camp in 2019. ISP students experienced a fully immersive English language programme whilst enjoying the natural wonders of this fascinating region of the USA. Students aged 12 to 14 soaked up American culture at a residential camp and built lifelong friendships.

Due to travel restrictions, the ISP International Summer Camp unfortunately was unable to go ahead for the last two years, but with the more positive likelihood of safe travelling, we are in the planning stages for the 2022 summer camp.

Kehoe-France will unfortunately not be hosting the ISP International Summer Camp this year due to COVID and impacts to their campus from last year’s storm. We will come back for summer 2023!

The last camp

Kehoe-France School joined ISP in October 2017 and has two campuses that offer Infant and Primary education. The college organized its first summer camp in 1949 and it has continued to run them for nearly 70 years, providing exceptional leadership and enriching experiences to enable students to understand themselves, those around them and the world they live in. The camp is aimed at students aged between 12 and 14.

More details in 2023!

Examples of the exciting opportunities that the summer camp offers include:

  • Exploring the lively music scene of New Orleans.
  • Eating out and trying the famous local food.
  • Taking part in academic competitions.
  • Activities to develop leadership and sports competitions, experiencing the American way of life.
  • Building long-standing friendships with students from the U.S. And around the world.
