School Maker Faire @ El Altillo International School

Dear families,

As you know, one of the pillars on which our school is based is the promotion of technology among our students. We have been making great strides with the incorporation of our Fab Lab and now we want to move forward and strengthen the “Maker movement” in our students. We are pleased to announce that on the 22nd of April we will be holding the second School Maker Faire at El Altillo International School. This is an official event organized in conjunction with the world-renowned specialist
magazine Make: (https://make.co/). In addition, we have new collaborators this year who want to see our efforts grow.

The fair will be open to the public, which means we are inviting all families of the school as well as community members to the event. Doors will open at 11:00 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon. Two food trucks will be on site to serve beverages and meals, and our school radio team will keep the buzz alive with music, live entertainment, and giveaways! To aid in the organization of the event, you will need to reserve and download your free ticket using the following link.

The creation of the “Maker Faire” in our school allows students to share their experiences beyond the classroom and engage with the rest of the community. The fair will provide a showcase not only for the projects but also recognizes the student learning process. It is a great opportunity to learn first-hand what incredible work our students are doing.
